Blog Closure

Dear Followers,

First of all, I would like to thank everyone whom has followed Consti, be it from the beginning or late in the game. Your support of this ask blog has been very much appreciated!

When I first started Constipated-ler, it was merely out of a joke, but he soon developed into a personality of his own that lasted for some time and later diminished into a neutral state. Over time, I feel like the essence of his character and what he (and this whole blog) is about has been lost. Additionally, it is important that I move on with my life, meaning away from certain distractions. Artistic advancement and personal improvement should be my main focus at the moment, and running ask blogs is not something I wish to do anymore — it is a waste of time for me and not something I should put my focus on.

My sincere apologies if any of you are saddened and/or inconvenienced by this decision. Consti has had a good long run, and I thank you all for making it that much more memorable! Many thanks, as well, to those whom have supplied me with artwork and reaction pictures for this blog. You guys are awesome! :)

Constipated-ler will close on April 14th.

P.S. Please note that any and all RP asks/messages that have been sent to Consti will be deleted. However, I will post up any asks sent to this blog that are on the subject of his closing (departure letters, questions, etc…).

At that, she couldn't look him in the eye. "I know..." Was all she managed to get out before jumping off of the counter and walking outside onto the porch in the valley. With a great amount of effort, she put the ring on the porch rail. "I just don't want Adam... Getting too attached to something he thinks is going to be his father."

"I understand…," was all Consti managed to say. He stared at the ring, a most forlorn look in his eye indeed.

True…. True….

Can you teach me how to knit?
Anonymous

Oh, sure! It’s very simple. Just start with this thread here and… umm… take that thread there and… erm…. Wait…. How does one knit again…? Eheh….

It’s… erm… it’s been a while since I last got off of this toilet to knit!

She nodded. "Okay..." Pushing herself up onto the counter, she looked down at her hands. Once a moment passed by, she slid the glass ring off her finger and tucked it away in her pocket. "I don't want to get married yet either... We can wait on all that. I just want to know what you think you need from me... If I need to change anything. I promise you if I do I will... I know you're uneasy with the baby, and we need to discuss that as well, as you know."

Consti sighed again and leaned against the counter, happy to turn his back on the kettle. With some effort, he managed a small smile.

"Nat, you don’t need to change who you are, and I don’t want you to change. I want you to be you, but… I also want you to be happy. I want you to realize that we may never be together, but that that in itself doesn’t have to be the end. If I’m not the one, there will be someone else out there for you — someone… someone better…."

He gulped and shook his head, composing himself after a slight, uncomfortable pause.

"But I will stay with you to help raise the baby… until that happens."

She bit her lip and tucked her fingers under his chin. "You..." She swallowed. "You should sit down for a little... I'll make some tea. We can talk about this. Go sit," And with that, she was off to the kitchen and letting water collect in the kettle.

Consti sighed as he watched her bustle about, filling the kettle with water… setting it on the stove… and turning the fire on. He walked up to her, slowly and with purpose. A hand moved atop hers on the kettle handle, and the fire was turned off.

"No more tea…," he said, his eyes stubbornly glued to his hand on top of hers. A moment passed, then he turned to look at her. "No more avoiding the subject. Every time I have tea I turn to pieces, for some reason…. Heh."

She jumped a bit when he grabbed her, but just stared into his eyes as he talked. With a slightly shaking voice, she said, "W-We don't have to y-yet... I-I d-don't want to f-force you to stay..." With that, she stared down at the floor, mentally kicking herself over everything she was staying. "P-Please loosen your g-grip..."

"Oh! I… I’m so sorry!" Consti blurted out, released her as if he’d been given an electric shock. Rather ashamed, her hung his head and rubbed his arm forlornly. "I’m… I’m sorry…."
